SCILOGEX Portable Dry Ice Maker (North American version with CGA-320 valve)
Dry ice machine for your lab
So you never have to pay for dry ice delivery again.
Or watch the unused dry ice sublimate.
The Scilogex Portable Dry Ice Maker gives you dry ice on demand. And it takes, literally, only 1 minute to make a 2lb block of dry ice.

Compact & lightweight

No electricity required

Safe & simple to use

Makes 2 lb dry ice block in 1 minute
Most suppliers have a minimum order size of 5 - 10 lbs of dry ice, if you pick it up yourself.
Want it delivered? That usually increases your minimum order to 150 to 250 lbs.
That’s $1,000 of dry ice, and you probably only need $100 of it.
Stop wasting your budget on unused dry ice and invest in your own dry ice machine.
How does a dry ice machine work?
The Scilogex Dry Ice Maker comes with easy to follow operating instructions.
Here’s how it works in 4 steps:

1. Connect the dry ice machine to a liquid CO2 cylinder and turn on the flow.
- Order liquid CO2 cylinder with a siphon tube.
- Use the plastic washer (supplied) to connect the hose with the siphon tube.

2.
Monitor pressure gauge for the flow of liquid carbon dioxide.
Open the cylinder valve slowly by 1 division increment (on the 0 - 20 scale on the gauge) to optimize ice block forming and not waste CO2.

3. When the dry ice block is made, close the cylinder valve.
- Watch the vapor discharge as a dry ice block forms.
- When the vapor discharges from the space between the lid and walls, the dry ice is formed.

4. Unclip the lid and remove your freshly made dry ice block
Caution: always wear waterproof cryogenic gloves when handling dry ice.
- Make another block instantly if required. There’s nothing to clean up, zero waiting with the Scilogex Dry Ice Maker.
- Store unused dry ice in an ultra-low freezer and use a Dewar Flask for transportation.
Simple dry ice machine sized for your lab
Most labs don’t need all 10 pounds of dry ice that comes with the minimum order size from dry ice suppliers.
The Scilogex dry ice machine can accommodate most dry ice pellet and block applications, including:
- Pre-cooling tissue samples.
- Rapidly freezing clinical samples before longer-term storage.
- Analyzing chemical or material reactions.
- Local sample transport and storage.
- Pharmaceutical transport.
💡Dry Ice Pellet Tip💡
Dry ice pellet makers cost a small fortune.
Grab a hammer and make your own pellets manually from your 2 lb block of dry ice.
It’s better on your budget - and much more fun!
Never watch unused dry ice sublimate before use again (and never waste budget on unused dry ice either).
