  Heating and cooling samples with thermal mixers 

Direct contact heating

Use direct contact heating elements that provide uniform heat distribution across the sample block. This heat (and cool) samples to the set temperature, minimizing gradients and variability compared to the indirect heating of water baths.

Peltier-based temperature control

Peltier elements let you quickly switch between heating and cooling. This allows for precise temperature adjustments and maintenance within a tight range, something that is harder to achieve and slower to respond in water or bead baths.  

Microprocessor control

Monitors and adjusts the temperature in real-time. Reducing the risk of overheating or fluctuations that are common in water baths.
