Apera SX716 is designed for lab-grade DO measurement (dissolved oxygen) in the field, suitable for general water solutions’ applications such as water treatment, groundwater, surface water, environmental monitoring, aquaculture, aquarium, beverage making, etc.

Basic Features

  • Intelligent functions – auto. calibration, auto. temperature compensation, self-diagnosis, data logging, auto. power off, and more.
  • Digital filter technology – enhance the meter’s response time and measurement accuracy
  • Automatic electrode recognition – the meter automatically switches to the right parameter mode according to the connected electrode
  • Data logging – 400 sets of data storage and recall
  • Built tough – IP57 water-resistant structure, ideal for use in harsh environment

Automatic Compensation for Higher Accuracy

Automatic compensation for temperature and salinity

Manual compensation for barometric pressure (altitude)

Data Logger

Data logging and recalling function with 100 sets of data storage

Measurement Range: 0-20.00mg/L
Cable length: 2 meters
Temperature unit: 30KΩ Thermistor

Easy Calibration

Easy calibration for saturated oxygen with the help of the calibration sleeve

Complete Kit

All the necessary accessories including replaceable caps, inner solution refill, and polishing papers are included in a rugged carrying case.

DO500 Polarographic DO Electrode

Equipped with Apera's proprietary 3-in-1 polarographic DO electrode for high accuracy and quick response. The DO500 Electrode comes with a calibration and storage sleeve along with 3 pieces of replacement membrane caps.

Replaceable membrane cap and built-in sensors

The DO electrode comes with a replaceable membrane cap and built-in temperature and salinity sensors for automatic compensation.

Quick response and short polarization time

Electrode polarization only takes 5 minutes (vs. industry average 20 to 30 minutes). Measurement reaches 90% response within 30 seconds.

When measuring DO in static water, keep swirling the electrode at a slow speed to get a stable reading. If the swirling stops in static water, the DO reading won't be stabilized. For details, please refer to the tutorial video.
